Huggins Hospital’s interim President and Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Roberge recently became the hospital’s permanent leader after serving in the interim role for the past eight months. The Huggins Board of Trustees voted unanimously to appoint Roberge to the permanent President and CEO position, citing his dedication to continuous improvement at Huggins Hospital.
“On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Huggins Hospital, we are happy to announce that Jeremy has been appointed as President and CEO,” said Timothy Sullivan, Chair of the Huggins Hospital Board of Trustees. “The Trustees are confident in Jeremy’s ability to keep Huggins moving forward with the positive momentum we’ve been experiencing over the past few years. He has been a strong leader throughout our affiliation process and has helped spearhead numerous improvements in the four years he has been part of the senior leadership team. Jeremy is qualified for this role and has prepared for it through many years of experience in rural healthcare.”
Over the past eight months since Roberge became the interim President and CEO, Huggins Hospital has made major strides toward finalizing an affiliation agreement with Catholic Medical Center and Monadnock Community Hospital. Over the past few years, Huggins Hospital’s revenue cycle operations have continuously and steadily improved to be the best in New Hampshire for Accounts Receivable Days. The hospital’s financial position continues to improve each year.
Prior to Huggins Hospital, Roberge’s career focused on financial and operational improvement in rural community hospitals and physician practices in Coos County. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant specializing in healthcare audits and finances. He was also a member of the Army National Guard. Roberge currently lives in Alton with his wife and three children.
