Elizabeth McGrath

Elizabeth McGrath, DNP, APRN

Elizabeth cares for patients in Huggins Hospital’s Cancer Care & Infusion Center and has over 40 years of experience in oncology nursing.

Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Anselm College and her Master of Science in Nursing from Sage Gradate School in New York. She later continued her education and received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northeastern University in Boston.

Elizabeth is deeply passionate about teaching. She has served as an associate professor at Northeastern University’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences in Boston and at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine. She currently teaches as an adjunct professor at Colby-Sawyer College’s School of Nursing and Health Professions.

Elizabeth is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, Northern New England Clinical Oncology Society, American Holistic Nursing Association and Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Association. She is certified in Palliative Care and Cancer Survivorship.

In her free time, she enjoys sewing/quilting, reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
