Huggins Hospital’s 30th Annual Golf Classic supports Financial Assistance for patients

This year Huggins Hospital celebrated its 30th year of the Annual Golf Classic. Over the past 30 years, the Classic has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to ensure everyone has access to health care regardless of their ability to pay. More than $26,000 was raised this year for the hospital’s Community Care Program. Huggins is thankful to the individuals and the businesses who have supported the Classic for so many years.

“We are lucky to have such wonderful support of this event,” said Jeremy Roberge, Huggins Hospital’s President & CEO. “We are especially thankful for Bald Peak Colony Club’s ongoing partnership and for allowing the hospital to return year after year as a benefit to the community.”

Huggins Hospital wishes to thank all of the sponsors of the tournament, including Bald Peak Colony Club, BNY Mellon, Catholic Medical Center, CGI Business Solutions, Citizens Bank, DiGiorgio Associates, Interstate Electrical Services, Berry Dunn, Brookside Entertainment Systems, W.B. Mason, Berkshire Bank, MicroFab, Helms & Company, Robert Half, Sprague Energy, ABM and Winthrop Resources.

Huggins would also like to thank WMUR meteorologist Kevin Skarupa for playing and helping to raise funds for the cause.

The team from Devine Millimet Attorneys at Law of Manchester won the scramble format of the tournament. Second Place went to Winthrop Resources and Jackson Lewis P.C. took third.

The tournament was also made possible by the dedication of Huggins Hospital employees and volunteers who helped the day run smoothly.
